Meet the team

Brenna gonzales zaccaria, ma, ccc-slp
practice owner & director

 Brenna is a licensed and certified Speech Language Pathologist from Arabi, LA.  She has been practicing since 2015 after receiving her Masters of Speech Language Pathology  and Bachelors of Communication Sciences and Disorders from Louisiana State University. Her clinical services are rooted in person-centered and strengths-based approaches. She also enjoys supervising and working closely with aspiring SLPs pursuing their professional training. Having worked across states and organizations, Brenna is eager to build from past experiences in developing a unique work environment, for both clients and professionals.

​ Brenna's clinical experience is primarily with pediatrics and young adults. She has developed an expertise in early intervention, social communication and motor-based speech production. She has advanced trainings in the It Takes Two to Talk® Hanen program, the PEERS for Young Adults® certification, Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), the Lego®-Based Therapy model and is a certified Natural Language Acquisition Provider.  In Brenna's clinical work, she strives to develop individualized plans and help identify the pieces of the puzzle that matter the most for her clients.  In her personal life, Brenna is an enthusiast for all things of creativity -- art, music, dance, cooking and movement! Her time spent with family, her husband and her dogs typically involves one or some of the above.

Madeline Chehardy, ​M.S., CCC-SLP
​Speech Language Pathologist

Madeline Chehardy is a licensed and certified speech language pathologist. She received her Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2023, following the completion of her Bachelors degree. Maddy is in her second year as a speech-language pathologist and currently serves as the SLP at a nearby elementary school. She has experience working with autism spectrum disorder,  receptive-expressive language development, caregiver education and related areas of communication. Maddy is from the greater New Orleans regional area. She recently moved to St. Bernard Parish with her husband and two dogs and with a little one on the way! In her free time, Maddy enjoys spending time with her family and lounging by the pool. Maddy looks forward to being a part of the team at Connectabilities and providing engaging speech and language therapy services to all of her clients!
